The Cluster conducts its activities in close cooperation with local authorities by delegating representatives to the Cluster Board:
First Deputy Chairman of the Sumy Regional State Administration Savchenko Taras;
The first deputy of the Sumy mayor Bondarenko Mykhailo.
The interaction of the Cluster with local authorities allows consolidating the efforts of business and government in the development of the industrial potential of Sumy, Sumy region and Ukraine, which in turn creates the prerequisites for:
ensuring equal access of industrial enterprises - members of the Cluster to the sale of products of the power equipment segment;
modernization of power equipment both by its manufacturers and consumers;
expansion of sales markets for finished products by industrial machine-building enterprises of Sumy, Sumy region and Ukraine.
The implementation of the program "Localization of production" (Law of Ukraine No. 3739 "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Public Procurement" to create prerequisites for sustainable development and modernization of domestic industry") creates well-established prerequisites for development due to the need to ensure a high degree of localization of industrial production goods.
